Why a Pregnancy Center?
Since the Supreme Court decision in 1973 that legalized abortion on demand, women facing unplanned pregnancies have often been burdened with a decision presented as quick and simple. Frequently, abortion is portrayed as a safe and easy solution, while the potential risks are no fully discussed.
Outside pressures, from family members, friends, or even healthcare professionals, can influence a woman toward a choice she may not truly desire. During this vulnerable time, women need someone who will listen without judgement, provide accurate and complete information, and walk alongside them with compassion and support.
We believe it is essential that women are fully informed about the risks of abortion and the life-affirming alternatives available to them, empowering each woman to make a knowledgeable and confident decision.
